Showing off her portfolio.
Tossing of their caps and chanting "We did it!"
The above pictures were taken on our DD1's preschool graduation, which our Daddy missed. It was a fun celebration for the little ones. Their school only had 5 gowns and the kids just switch after they march one by one. Their caps though were made for everyone of them. They have the tossing of the caps also after the ceremony was done.
Having them to march one at a time made them feel very special. Each has their own moment to show everybody how proud they are as little grads. My husband saw the pictures already and he felt a little sad for not witnessing it. This is one of the sacrifices that our soldier have to endure when away from the family aside from the many birthdays, anniversaries, milestones of loved ones. I am glad though that despite of Daddy's absence, she still enjoyed the celebration.
