I was saddened because my ever dependable vehicle finally stalled with us. We went to the city to bring our other daughter home. On our way back we passed by the gas station to refuel. When hubby started the car after refueling, it cranked up but there's vibration kind of noise. Good thing it run and we were able to park it in the parking lot of the gasoline station.
It was already 9pm and we did not bring any tools so hubby can check on it, so we decided to call our insurance provider. They sent us a towing service to tow the car from that area to home. The bad part, our insurance covers only 17 miles for towing. We ended up paying the rest of the mileage which is $7/mile plus tax. The total miles from the gas station to our house is 46 miles. It was totally unexpected.
Hubby did not fix it yet although he already have the sense of what went wrong. He can't work on it yet since he is on training and very busy. I dreaded to drive his truck for my daily errands and bringing our daughter to and from school, but I am forced to drive it. It felt awkward and a bit intimidated with big vehicle with me a tiny one. It's been more than a week now that I am driving hubby's Ford Explorer and so far I am liking it. I think whenever we are going to replace my car, I may opt for an SUV.

Go for an SUV, Bless. May nice jud ang SUV. Pero among van dependable kaayo sa lagyo nga travels. LOL. That means magpapuli na jud si Focus. It's about time na jud daw. Ouch on your payment sa towing kay gamay ra ang go-shoulder sa insurance. :(( At least u guys were safe!
