This was the scenario yesterday outside our house. The snow stuck on the ground but it wasn't deep. Regardless, the kids loved walking and playing while me following them ready to rescue them in case they fall. I wish I can just sit down on the patio, watch the snowflakes fall from the sky, and sipping freshly brewed coffee. But even my desire to just keep warm in the sideline, it cannot be. I have to make sure they are safe while playing especially in this weather.
I saw a neighbor plowing their driveway and another neighbor puffing cigar. I think that is their way of keeping warm as well. Speaking of cigar, I have heard about Acid cigars. I don't know what it is but it may have something to do with the flavor. I bet cigar aficionados know more about it.
Anyways, since I don't smoke I may just settle with drinking a cup of coffee to keep me warm in this winter snowy weather. We'll see tomorrow if we get a knee-deep snow then I may have to bring the kids out again and make a snowman.
