My husband's training and deployment is fast approaching. They were ordered to pack their gears last week and I believe it was already shipped to their destination. Last week hubby was busy sorting his stuffs; what goes to the big box and to his duffel bags. While doing so, our DD was also very busy climbing up and down on them. Hubby told me that I will be seeing all those gears again next year. I was kinda sad while he was packing coz I know it's real. He will be leaving us again for the nth time. This deployment will be the longest time that he will be away from us. As most of military spouses is feeling, I too dreaded the day but we can't do anything about it. It's part of the duties they've sworn to uphold. As his wife, I am only here to support him and stand by him no matter what.

it's hard seeing them pack, isnt' it? I just helped my husband to pack all of his things and see him leave a couple months ago. it sounds like you've already been through this before... this is my first deployment.
good luck! and if you want, you can always sound off to me; i know that for me at least, sometimes it just helps to be able to vent to someone.
