We just had a winter storm here in the Northwest not too long ago. And as a matter of fact, last week we had another winter storm warning and experienced snowing again. The winter is not over yet and I am pretty sure we will have another bout of more snow. When we had that winter storm and had almost a foot of snow hubby went to buy snow chains but the store that he went to run out of it. Although there was no mandatory chaining in our county but we planned of going somewhere that needs chaining of tires. Since he wasn't able to buy a pair, we did not pursue with our plan to drive somewhere. But hubby is still contemplating on buying tire chains since we will be going north soon and if we pass through the passes chains are needed. He told me that if ever he got the chains, it will be his first time to drive with snow chains in his tires.
