Developmental Toys

When I am buying toys for our little one, I always make it sure that it will help in her development. During her well baby check ups the Pediatrician give us list of different activities that are appropriate for her age. I also read from various baby books as well as online resources to choose safe and helpful toys. On Christmas, my husband bought her an easel that is for 5 years and above. She is still 20 months so I thought we can't use it yet but now she uses it to scribble with her crayons although she only reaches half of its length. I prefer her to use the other developmental toys that I also bought for her like the word and letter blocks, foam wood blocks and the little people village.

I was looking online for other toys that will help in her cognitive and imaginative skills to spruce up and found Mega Brand's shape sorting puppy. It will not only help our little one to know about different shapes but color as well. Building toys such as these are really appropriate for them to learn to imagine and build something. It will develop their creativity so to speak. All of the toys I found at Mega Brands are helpful for kid's development. If you visit megabrands.com you will see these various educational toys I am talking about. I love the site also because I can find a lot of information for fun activities for the kids and the family. Visit the site now and I am pretty sure you will enjoy too as much as I do.
