We just had our carpet cleaned on the first week of December last year. It was a free cleaning courtesy by our apartment's management since we renewed our lease agreement. But because we have a very active toddler that always play on the floor, we decided to clean it again. Hubby doesn't like looking at the carpet with stains. You can see spots of our DD's spilled juice or milk and also stains when she drops her food on the floor. As I have said that I vacuum almost everyday but the spots are still there. So hubby rented a steam carpet cleaner and did the cleaning by himself.
He did the cleaning yesterday night while I put our DD to sleep. It was still early, around 8pm, and our DD usually sleeps at 9pm or so. Since she can hear the sound of the vacuum, she wanted to get out of her bedroom. When she saw her Daddy vacuuming, she took her toy vacuum and copied her Daddy. She is really a copycat. I just let her play for few minutes and brought her back to the room. I don't want her to be exposed too much with the carpet cleaning reagents. I heard a lot about illnesses in kids due to exposure of chemicals in cleaning reagents. It can even give me a headache how much more to our young ones.
