Tag from Norms

Norms tagged me and here's my take on her series of questions.

1. Would you rather be alone OR surrounded by enemies for the rest of your life?
* Fortunately don't have enemies and if ever I just love them as my friend. It's okay if they're around me as long as they mind their own business.
2. Are you an early bird OR a night owl?
* I am an early bird as well as a night owl.
3. When sick, do you prefer to be pampered OR left alone?
* I like to be pampered and be alone to rest.
4. Do you believe in the relative OR the absolute truth?
*I believe in both. Everything is relative but there is nothing to surpass the absolute truth.
5. Which is worse, the Burning Question OR the Painful Truth?
*The painful truth as the cliche goes "reality bites".

New Unit

Yesterday hubby was already signed in to his unit after two weeks of being at replacement. He is now in Stryker's Brigade. He told me the madness is starting now. When he came home last night he brought with him a bunch of paper works. He asked me to go over it with him. When I read the papers it gave me goose bumps. Why? Because in the paper works are forms that the soldier needs to fill up regarding his request in case there is casualty during deployment. I found it so morbid to think about but it's the reality and we need to face it.

Deployment

I pretty much knew even before we came here that when hubby will be assigned to another station he will expect a deployment overseas. I know it's a time that I am going to dread when it comes. Even how I detest the thought but we can't do anything about it. As long as hubby is in the service we will expect a lot of things. Sure enough when hubby talked to his sponsor this past week he was told he will be deployed pretty soon. Hearing the reality hurts and I will just embrace the thought that soon I will be alone taking care of the family when he left. I feel the anxiousness now. I am just praying to God that everything will be alright.

Pro360 Online Casino Reviews

Casinos are not only seen outdoors but also even if you are in the comfort of your home you will still enjoy seeing your favorite games. Either you will just watch it or play it yourself. Here in Washington State there are lots of casinos. I haven't seen so many casinos in my life until I got here. Our friends here already invited us to go out and check one but we don't have somebody to take care of our little one. I don't know how to play the games other than slot machine. I saw hubby play online poker but still I can't catch the game to understand it.

So I think I will just have to settle with the online casino at the comfort of our home. But I know I should not jump into any casinos online. I am glad that Pro360 provides a review of the vast casinos floating in the world wide web. They extensively gets review of game experience, trust score and how much bonuses they give. Pro360 made it sure to get these statistics because players have different preferences. And by doing so, players can also select properly the online casino as well as the games such as online poker, roulette, black jack, slot machines and others. If you are fond of playing casinos and wanted to play online, you can also check Pro360 and play in the online casino of your choice.

I am very excited it didn’t take long for me to wait for my blog to be approved by Smorty. I was inspired to blog now because I am a stay at home Mom and would like to help my family with our daily expenses. I have been a member of Smorty for couple of months and I’m lovin’ it.

Smorty is a service that uses blog advertising. They connect the advertisers to the bloggers. Army Lodging

My first experience with living in Army lodging was the day after I arrived here in the US. My husband was in schooling that time and staying in a barracks on post. But he moved to an Army lodging because I was around. We stayed there until he graduated then returned to our apartment.

The second time was during our PCS from Kentucky to Georgia. We stayed in Army lodging for 10 days before we moved to our rented apartment. This time is the third time. With a baby around we stayed in a room with double queen bed, a dining table for 4, a bathroom, and a little kitchen with stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen utensils. I would say it's a little more like a bachelor's pad and we are paying $50/day.

Comparing to the family room that we stayed in an Air Force Inn, there it is more comfortable because it is a bit bigger with a kitchen with breakfast bar, double sink, 6 cu.ft ref w/ ice maker, oven, living room, storage, walk-in closet, washer and dryer, bathroom and we paid $37/day. I don't know why it has different price though.

Recap on Our Relocation Trip

To recap our relocation journey let me start by saying it may be tiring to some point but we enjoyed the sightseeing and the different places that we passed by along the way. It took us 7 days travel from Columbus, GA coming here at Ft. Lewis, WA. The total travel time is only 41 hours for almost 3,000 miles, give or take. In my husband's order, I believe when PCSing, the soldier is allowed to travel 8 hours a day from state to state. So the estimate is 5 days but since we took our time it took us 7 days total. But it's okay the Army pays for our mileage, lodging and food while relocating.

Our household goods were packed on Oct. 18 and picked up on the 19th. With my car, since the Army will not ship it, we arranged for its shipment. The shipping fee was taken from our own pocket that cost us $1,095.00, no reimbursement. The Army will only ship vehicle if it is overseas. So it was picked up on Oct. 21st and we departed Columbus on the 22nd. We arrived here on the 29th very glad, safe and sound.

The states that we passed and crossed:

Georgia - Tennessee - Kentucky - Illinois - Missouri - Kansas - Nebraska -Iowa (part) - Wyoming - Utah - Oregon - Washington.

We slept over at Nashville, TN (Days Inn); Scott AFB, IL (Air Force Inn); St. Joseph, MO (Ramada Hotel); Sidney, NE (Comfort Inn); Ogden, UT (Motel 6); Pendleton, OR (Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites); McChord AFB, WA (Evergreen Inn-Air Force Inn), Lakewood (La Quinta Inn & Suites), Ft. Lewis, WA (Rainier Inn-Army Lodging).

I am glad that we found an apartment to stay until we can find the house that we want to settle. I know I still have to expect another relocation or PCS while hubby is still in the service
